This year, we are excited to implement the PAXIS behavioral management framework throughout our school. PAXIS is a proactive, evidence-based approach that teaches students the social, emotional, and self-management skills they need to be successful in school and beyond. Rather than focusing solely on correcting behavior, PAXIS helps students develop positive habits by promoting teamwork, responsibility, kindness, self-control, and respectful decision-making.

Students across every classroom will learn and practice shared expectations that encourage cooperation, reduce disruptions, and maximize learning time. Families may hear students talking about working together, encouraging one another, celebrating successes, and making choices that create a peaceful, productive school community. These common expectations help provide consistency throughout the building and strengthen the positive relationships that are at the heart of Holloway Elementary.
